Darren Bennett is an experienced property professional with a diverse background in real estate and investment. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Managing Director at Fortem Property since June 2020, Darren also operates as a self-employed property investor, focusing on acquiring blocks of flats and houses in London and the Home Counties. Additional roles include mentoring at Bridging Barriers and previously investing in The Sunny Spoon, a vegan pastry supplier. Earlier experience includes founding DCBM, which merged with Fortem Property, and serving as Director of Business Development at a property company. Notably, Darren held the position of Managing Director at Rewind Music Ltd, a music events firm, and has contributed to residential investments with Aspen Woolf Europe. Darren's educational background includes a BSc in Real Estate Management from the University College of Estate Management.

Bridging Barriers is social mobility charity supporting young people aged 16-25 to achieve career success through mentoring, virtual masterclasses and networking events. With mentoring at the forefront of what we do, we give young people access to professionals who empower them with the soft and hard skills needed to thrive. Our virtual masterclasses and networking events complement the mentoring, allowing young people to build employment networks to strengthen access to opportunities.
