Yusha Davidson is a Co-Founder of South African Legal Technology Network and BriefCo, a Member of the Global LegalTech Consortium, and has held various other positions since 2015. In 2018, Davidson was an Associate and Candidate Attorney at Werksmans Attorneys, a YSS Committee Member at the South African Society for Labour Law, and held various positions at the University of Cape Town, including Teaching and Research Assistant, Secretary-General of the Postgraduate Law Student Council, Constitutional Law PASS Tutor, and Constitutional Law Tutor. Additionally, Davidson was a Research Assistant at the UCT Centre for Criminology, an Academic Tutor at Legalese Tutoring, a Contributor to the Road Traffic Management Corporation, and a Community Service Founder and Coordinator at The Haven Night Shelter Welfare Organisation.
Yusha Davidson has a comprehensive educational background. From 2010-2013, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) at the University of Cape Town, specialising in Economics with Law. From 2014-2015, they completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Cape Town, specialising in Law. From 2016-2017, they completed a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Cape Town, specialising in Public Law. In 2020, they completed an Advanced course in Corporate Law and Securities Law at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. In addition, they have obtained certifications from the Global LegalTech Consortium (GLTC) to become a Thought Leader of Global LegalTech Consortium Sessions 2021, as well as from Udemy for Application of Blockchain in Legal Industry and Technology and Innovation for Legal Professionals, both obtained in 2021.
