Mark McCrum

Mark McCrum is the Chief Engineer at Bright Ascension Ltd, where they combine their passion for space and computers to lead software development for space missions. They co-wrote the flight software and developed the Mission Control software for the UKube-1 nanosatellite. With a PhD in Space Technology from the University of Dundee, Mark has extensive experience in software engineering, project management, and operations management. Additionally, they have worked with various organizations, including Vega Space and the Space Technology Centre at the University of Dundee, enhancing systems for autonomous space exploration.
