During Skip’s 30+ years of experience in electrical construction he has gained a vast knowledge of the industry. Beginning in 1979, he worked his way up from a helper in residential construction to his current position as Vice President of [Bright Future Electric](/org/bright-future-electric). Over the years his electrical construction projects have involved numerous industries such as educational buildings, retail spaces, office buildings, shopping centers, healthcare jobs, industrial and manufacturing facilities. His clientele have included Hoar Construction, [Brasfield & Gorrie](/org/brasfield-gorrie), Duke Construction and Williams Construction. He has also acquired an excellent background in estimating, purchasing, scheduling, design and management while personally being involved with architects, engineers, owners and inspectors.

Skip Brown

Allen began his career in the electrical industry in 1984 after graduating from The Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. During this time he has been involved with some of Alabama’s major construction projects including SouthTrust Tower, Riverchase Galleria, Compass Bank Headquarters and the Alabama Judicial Building, just to name a few. Working with major clients such as [Brasfield & Gorrie](/org/brasfield-gorrie), Brice Building, Robins & Morton and Hoar Construction has allowed Allen to gain vast experience on a variety of project types, ranging from industrial and manufacturing to healthcare, corporate headquarters and religious facilities. With this knowledge, he has developed a solid reputation within the industry for his services on design/build, design/assist and other complex projects requiring early pre-construction involvement.

Allen McCain

Carmon started in the electrical industry in 1969 working as an apprentice electrician during the summer while still in school. Since that time he has worked in a number of capacities in the industry including: Apprentice, Journeyman, & Master Electricians; Estimator, Project Manager and Corporate Officer. During his time in the industry he has been involved with a myriad of projects in 5 states. Most of his experience is with Healthcare related projects, but has also been involved with several projects in the industrial manufacturing sector including 15KV and 35KV medium voltage distribution. With his experience in the various sectors of construction and his ability to be involved in design/assist, design/build and project scheduling, he has a reputation working with general contractors, owners, architects, and engineers to get the job done regardless of the complexity of the project.

Carmon Colvin

Nick started in the electrical industry in 1998 working as an apprentice. Since that time Nick has held various positions such as estimator, project manager and currently branch manager of their Fort Myers office. Throughout his career Nick has worked on or managed a myriad of projects including high rise condominiums, educational buildings, assisted living facilities, restaurants and other light and heavy commercial projects. Nick is a resident of Fort Myers.

Nick Rimes

Danny’s electrical experience began in 1988 as an apprentice electrician during the day while training at Wallace State Community College at night. His experience as a Journeyman and Master Electrician allowed him to work in several categories such as commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential and medium voltage distribution (15kv to 35kv). This field work experience followed by becoming a Superintendent on large construction projects also set the course to become a Project Manager/ Estimator for similar projects.

Danny Overton

Brad has served as CFO for [Bright Future Electric](/org/bright-future-electric) since 2007. The previous 10 years, he was CFO for Haymaker Electric in Birmingham, Alabama. During his career, Brad gained experience as an accountant with the Jim Walter Corporation and with the former Big 8 accounting firm Arthur Andersen. Brad holds a CPA certificate and is a graduate of [Auburn University](/org/auburn-university).

Brad Berryhill

Steve began his career in 1983 when he attended a 4 year electrical program in Maryland while working as a helper for C&E Electric. After graduating he continued his education by taking 2 years of Business courses part-time. Steve then moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1989 and accepted a position at Aladdin Ward Electric as a journeyman and was promoted to a foreman in 1994.

In 1996 Steve went to [Purdue University](/org/purdue-university) for project management after which he was promoted to Project Manager where he managed up to $8,000,000.00 in work. During this time Steve managed projects such as Sarabay Club ($5.5M), La BellaSara ($2.3M), Marina Towers ($2.5M).

Steve Panagiotakis

Victor has over 30 years in the electrical field. Focusing on the mid to large commercial field, he has worked on and managed a wide variety of projects, from high-rise office buildings, to medical and rehabilitation facilities, to town center-based multi-family developments. From apprentice to branch manager, he’s handled restaurants, banks, churches, condos, and hospitals to name a few. He’s currently state certified in Alabama and has held a North Carolina certification. He’s also OSHA 30 certified. He headed the Evening Electrical Department at Wallace State College for more than five years teaching AC and DC theory, residential and commercial wiring as well as certification preparatory classes. He currently serves on the Director’s Board for The Chapel at Crosspoint.
