Deana E.

Deana E. is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Assistant Principal at Bright Star Schools. With over 20 years in instructional and school leadership roles, Deana has demonstrated a commitment to equity-centered education and teacher development, fostering collaborative cultures among staff. Deana previously held positions such as Dean of Instruction at Rise Kohyang High School and was a Council in Schools Facilitator with The Ojai Foundation, championing social-emotional learning and multicultural appreciation. They hold a Doctor of Education in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Education, both from the University of Southern California, graduating summa cum laude.
