Simon Beausaert

Simon Beausaert is a seasoned academic and industry professional specializing in learning and development. Currently serving as a Learning and Development Specialist at Brightbook since January 2024, Simon has held multiple roles at Maastricht University since September 2016, including Full Professor and Program Director for the Learning and Development in Organisations MSc program. Previously, Simon was a Professor in the professional development of teachers at Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve from September 2013 to September 2016 and has experience as an Assistant Professor and PhD student at Maastricht University from 2008 to September 2015. Simon holds a Master in Educational Sciences from KU Leuven, obtained in 2008, and completed secondary education at Sint-Lodewijkscollege between 1997 and 2003.
