Patrick Kern

Patrick Kern has diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Patrick is currently the Co-Founder/CTO at brighter AI since July 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Mentor at Udacity from December 2016 to December 2019. In 2017, they worked as a Masters Candidate at Hella Ventures. Patrick also gained experience as a Working Student - Software Engineer at Signavio from September 2016 to February 2017. Before that, they worked at KPMG Deutschland as a Working Student - Software Engineer and later as an Intern - Software Engineer. Their responsibilities at KPMG included designing single-page applications and developing RESTful web services. Additionally, they worked as a Student assistant / Tutor in Programming 1 & 2 at the University of Applied Sciences: HTW Berlin from October 2013 to July 2014. Patrick also has experience as an Intern - Sales & Marketing Representative at West Trek Tours and as an Intern - Mechanical engineering and construction at Enayati GmbH & Co. KG.

Patrick Kern completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Computing from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin between 2013 and 2015. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Computing from the University of Applied Sciences: HTW Berlin from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, in 2016 and 2017, Patrick completed a Nanodegree in Self-Driving Car Engineering from Udacity.
