Tom Laughlin has held various roles in multiple companies throughout their career. In 1983, they served as General Manager at Louis Facelli Winery, overseeing production and financial activities. From 1986 to 1989, they were the Regional Sales Director at Chapelle USA, managing distribution and sales of wine brands. In 1990, they served as a Brand Management Intern at Del Monte Foods, Inc., and assisted in directing staff groups, preparing line rationalization, and conducting competitive analysis. Tom worked at General Mills from 1991 to 2002, managing domestic and international brand management and serving as a Human Resource Development Manager. From 2004 to 2008, they were an Adjunct Executive Coach and Organizational Consultant at Right Management. Tom was a faculty member of the Leadership Academy at Rotary International from 2008 to 2010. Tom established Caravela Inc in 2002 and currently leads the organization in providing leadership and business development programs to individuals and organizations. Tom has also worked as Director of Marketing and Operations at Ethical Leaders in Action, LLC since its inception in 2010. Most recently, they held the role of Executive Advisor in Marketing and Organizational Development at SynFiny Advisors, and they currently work as a Marketing Manager at BrightFire Inc.
Tom Laughlin completed their undergraduate studies in Fermentation Science at the University of California, Davis from 1977 to 1981. Later on, they pursued their MBA in Marketing and Strategy at UCLA Anderson School of Management for the academic years 1989 to 1991. After some time they returned to Saint Mary's University of Minnesota for their MA in International Leadership and Organizational Development which they successfully accomplished from 1997 to 2000. Lastly, they enrolled in Post Graduate Studies at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota for the academic years 2002 to 2004 to further study Psychology.
