Simon Whelan

Simon Whelan has worked in a variety of roles within the technology sector since 2008. Simon began their career as a Developer at AIB, where they developed applications for their main frame using PL1 and tested other applications. In 2010, they joined BearingPoint as a Technology Consultant, providing technology consulting services to clients. During their time at BearingPoint, they also held the roles of Senior Technology Consultant and Technical Analyst/Senior Technical Analyst. In 2022, they joined Beyond Now as a Senior Technology Consultant, working on their digital platform, digital marketplace, and SaaS BSS. Simon also began working at Brightflag as a Lead Software Engineer, where they applied artificial intelligence and machine learning to legal operations management software.

Simon Whelan attained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons Software Systems Development in the field of Information Technology from the Waterford Institute of Technology between 2006 and 2010.
