Ed Johnsen

Ed Johnsen has extensive experience in investment operations and financial services, currently serving as Vice President of Investment Operations at Brighthouse Financial since January 2018, after holding the position of Director in the same department. Previously, Ed Johnsen worked at Ally Financial Inc. in Capital Markets Analytics from September 2010 to December 2017, and at a Large Insurance/Financial Institution in Financial Services from March 2009 to September 2010. Prior roles include Vice President of Portfolio Administration and Head Trader at Steinberg Asset Management and Vice President of Portfolio Administration at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Ed Johnsen began a career in finance as a Supervisor at SPNTCO. Ed Johnsen earned an M.B.A. in Finance from St. John's University between 1994 and 1996.
