Katie Hellmann

Katie Hellmann's work experience includes serving as the Head of Funds & Investments Compliance and CCO of Brighthouse Investment Advisers & Funds at Brighthouse Financial since March 2023. Prior to this, they were the Deputy CCO at Transamerica Asset Management from June 2022 to March 2023. Before joining Transamerica, Katie held various roles at Edward Jones, including Leader, Sr. Compliance Counsel - Funds Compliance from March 2017 to June 2022 and Associate Compliance Counsel - Investment Advisory Compliance from December 2014 to March 2017. Katie also worked as an Associate Attorney at Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard P.C. from May 2012 to December 2014. Early in their career, Katie worked at Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor from 2009 to 2010 and as an Insurance Specialist from 2004 to 2009.

Katie Hellmann has a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the Washington University School of Law, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis from 2000 to 2003, with a double major in English and Political Science. Katie attended Bowling Green High School from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, Katie has obtained various certifications including the FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 24, and 66, and is a member of both the Illinois Bar and the Missouri Bar.
