Steve Cheatham

Steve Cheatham, MBA, is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in technology leadership and consulting. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at BrightKey since February 2024, Steve previously held the role of Vice President of Information Technology at Sony Pictures Entertainment, where notable achievements included a 22% increase in employee productivity through automation. As founder and Chief Technologist of SMC Tech Consulting, Steve also designed and delivered courses on Change & Security Management as an adjunct professor at the University of Redlands, contributing to the academic growth of students in the field. Additional roles include Director of Information Technology at Astro Pak Corporation and FilmL.A., Inc., where Steve implemented strategies that significantly enhanced operational efficiency and reduced costs.
