Myra Altman

Myra Altman, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Clinical Officer at Brightline since March 2023 and is a CERC Scholar and Postdoctoral Design Fellow at the Clinical Excellence Research Center at Stanford University, where a focus is on innovative health care delivery models aimed at cost reduction and improved patient experience. Previous roles include Vice President of Clinical Strategy & Research at Modern Health from July 2018 to February 2023, where responsibilities encompassed ensuring clinical efficacy, managing a network of therapists and coaches, and product management. Myra has also served as a licensed psychologist at Pacific Anxiety Group and completed a clinical psychology pre-doctoral internship at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a PhD in Clinical Psychology, Myra has contributed to numerous manuscripts and presentations on topics related to obesity, eating disorders, and evidence-based treatment.
