Melissa Stein

Melissa Stein currently serves as a Legal Editor at Brightmine, a subsidiary of LexisNexis Risk Solutions, since October 2022. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as an EEO Attorney with AFGE from November 2021 to October 2022, where responsibilities included representing union members in employment discrimination claims and conducting training. From September 2019 to November 2021, Melissa was an Associate Attorney at Correia & Puth, PLLC, focusing on employment discrimination and Title IX claims. Earlier experience includes positions as a Student Attorney at the Restraining Order and Survivor Advocacy Clinic and the Neighborhood Law Clinic, and a Law Clerk at Disability Rights Wisconsin and Hawks Quindel, S.C. Melissa began a legal career as a Paralegal at Loevy + Loevy from March 2014 to May 2016. Melissa earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School (2016-2019) and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from Barrett, The Honors College (2009-2012).
