David Gil

David Gil currently serves as the Executive Vice President at BrightNight since April 2023. Prior to this role, David held various positions at NextEra Energy Resources, including Executive Director of Renewables Development from January 2012 to April 2023, overseeing the renewables development team for the central U.S., and Manager of Regulatory and Legislative Affairs. Earlier experience includes serving as an Analyst reporting directly to the CEO at NextEra Energy Resources from December 2009 to November 2011, Director of Business Development at Palm Beach Meditox from 2006 to 2009, Senior Associate at Callisto Partners from 2003 to 2006 in investment banking and mergers and acquisitions, and Analyst at Volpe Brown Whelan & Co. from 1999 to 2002 in similar fields. David holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
