Derrick Merrell has a diverse work experience in sales and finance. Derrick started their career in 2016 as a Certified Financial Planner at The Huntington Investment Company. In 2017, they transitioned to Brighton Science, where they held multiple roles. Derrick started as a Sales Engineer in January 2017, then became a Sales Manager in February 2017. Currently, they are serving as the Sales Director at Brighton Science, overseeing the application of surface science to real-life adhesion, manufacturing, product development, and supply chain challenges for visionary manufacturers.

Derrick Merrell attended Miami University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics.
