Currently serving as the VP of Discovery at Brightseed, Xu leads strategic objectives in R&D and builds a top-tier scientific team. Xu's expertise includes developing natural products discovery platforms, building computation infrastructure, and discovering bioactive compounds for human health benefits. With a PhD in Computational Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China, Xu has a strong background in bioinformatics and scientific research.
