Paul Winter

Paul Winter is a highly experienced professional in clinical research and STEM education, currently serving as a Student Mentor for STEM careers at Brightside since January 2022. With a long-standing commitment to promoting science as a career choice, Paul has been a Science Ambassador with STEMNET since April 2014, delivering talks in schools across Greater London and emphasizing diverse career paths in science beyond traditional roles. Paul also contributes to the WISE Campaign for gender balance in science, technology, and engineering since November 2017. Previously held senior roles at GSK included Senior Director of Clinical Research and Global Head of Clinical Operations, with responsibility for significant oncology and neurology projects. Paul's extensive career includes leadership positions at Glaxo Wellcome and Eli Lilly and Company, along with a solid educational foundation, including a Ph.D. in Physiology and Pharmacology from St George's, University of London.
