Shawndrika Cook

Shawndrika Cook, MS, Ed.S, LPC is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in various roles within the counseling field. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Services at the Black Women's Mental Health Institute and as an Assistant Professor at Houston Christian University, Shawndrika combines clinical expertise with educational leadership. Shawndrika has also worked as a Telehealth Therapist for Brightside Health and a Mental Health Counselor at Telemynd, providing comprehensive care and counseling to clients facing mental health challenges. As the owner of The Cultivation Center, Shawndrika focuses on guiding patients and their families in navigating community resources. With a solid academic foundation that includes an Ed.S in Mental Health Counseling, a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Shawndrika is dedicated to advancing mental health awareness and treatment.
