Amr Khaled

Amr Khaled has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies.

Starting in 2018, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Abo Qir Power Station, where they gained experience in control and communication protocols, hardware, electrical issues, and system design.

In 2019, they joined Siemens Healthineers as a Field Services Engineer, where they handled medical equipment issues and performed regular system checks in hospitals and clinics.

In 2020, they interned as a Machine Learning Intern at ONE Lab Egypt, focusing on hardware acceleration for machine learning algorithms.

From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Robo-Tech, initially as an Electrical Engineer, then as a Team Leader (CEO), and later as the Head of the Computer Vision department. In these roles, they implemented algorithms for object detection, semantic segmentation, and utilized OpenCV. Amr also managed dataset gathering, annotation, augmentation, and splitting.

In 2021, they joined Eventum IT Solutions as a Data Science Intern, where they worked on multivariate time series forecasting, statistical approaches for univariate time series forecasting, and hyperparameter tuning using Bayesian Optimization methods.

Most recently, Amr Khaled joined Brightskies in 2022 as an Embedded Software Engineer.

Amr Khaled's education history begins in 2004 at Zahraa Language School, where they attended until 2016. Amr then proceeded to Alexandria University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from 2016 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Amr Khaled has obtained various certifications and completed courses to enhance their skills. These include a C Programming Course Certification from Sololearn in October 2022, a Testing Foundations Track - Udacity Nanodegree Graduation Certificate from egFWD in September 2022, and an Eventum IT Solution Data Science Intern Certificate from Eventum IT Solutions in September 2021. Amr also completed the One Million Arab Coders - Data Analysis Track and received a certificate from Udacity in September 2021.

Further certifications and achievements include a Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Competition certificate, where they secured second place in July 2021, a Data Analysis Track milestone certificate from Udacity in June 2021, and a FWD Data Analysis Professional Nanodegree certificate from Udacity in May 2021. Amr has also earned the Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals - AI-900 certificate in April 2021.

Amr Khaled's journey in learning and obtaining certifications continued with a FWD Data Analysis Challenger Nanodegree from Udacity in February 2021. Amr completed the Deep Learning Specialization and the DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer Specialization from deeplearning.ai in October 2020. In the same month, they also completed an internship as a Machine Learning Hardware Acceleration Intern at ONE Lab Egypt. Additionally, they received a Hackerrank Problem Solving Certificate from HackerRank in September 2020.

During their education, Amr Khaled also completed courses in C++ and Python 3 from SoloLearn in 2020. In February 2020, they achieved recognition in the Google's Hash Code 2020 online Competition, ranking in the top 11% worldwide and 7th place in Egypt. Amr acquired proficiency in HTML through a SoloLearn course in November 2019. Amr Khaled obtained a Machine Learning Course Certificate from Coursera in October 2019, and they completed a Full Embedded Systems Diploma under the supervision of Engineer Mohamed Tarek in September 2019.
