Khaled Sedik has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Khaled began their career as a fresh graduate from the Faculty of Engineering at Helwan University. Khaled then obtained an MCIT scholarship from the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, where they completed a 7-month diploma program specializing in Java web applications.
After completing their scholarship, Khaled joined Egabi Learn as a Software Engineer. Khaled then moved on to work at CGC, where they held a similar role.
In 2015, Khaled joined Advansys ESC as a Software Engineer I, where they were responsible for implementing the EAI layer for projects Linda and Carefour. Khaled continued working at Advansys ESC and was promoted to the role of Software Engineer II in 2016.
During their time at Advansys ESC, Khaled had an opportunity to gain international experience. Khaled was outsourced as a Software Engineer to Dematic GmbH in Germany, where they worked on the Landmark project, a Warehouse Management System for the Landmark Group. Khaled was involved in implementing UI dialogs using GWT and glassfish application server.
After their international assignment, Khaled returned to Advansys ESC and was promoted to the role of Software Engineer III in 2018. Khaled worked in this position until 2020.
In 2020, Khaled joined Brightskies as a Senior Software Engineer, where they are currently employed.
Khaled Sedik attended Helwan University Cairo from 2006 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Programming. In 2014, they also obtained an additional certification as an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 7 Programmer from Oracle.
