Rick Gordon

They are the Chief Executive Officer of BrightSpec, Inc., a role they have held since 2025. They previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Halo Labs from 2017 to 2020, building the company from its first dollar in product revenue through multiple rounds of financing and several product launches, culminating in an exit to Waters Corporation. They have held various sales leadership roles, including Vice President of Sales at Phasefocus (2016–2017), Director of Sales, Americas at ForteBio (2012–2015), and Vice President of Sales at Unchained Labs (2015–2016), as well as earlier positions as Technical Sales Representative at Molecular Devices (2004–2007) and Director of Client Solutions and Sales at LabKey (2007–2008). In 2025 they were involved in Waters Corporation’s integration of Halo Labs post-acquisition. They hold an MS from the University of Maine, a BS from the University of Washington, and completed an Executive Education Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
