Michael Tano

Michael Tano, CISSP, PPS, PI, serves as a Senior Engineer in Threat Intelligence within the Security Operations Center at Brightspeed since August 2022. In addition, Michael is the President and Chief Instructor at Advanced Tactical Training and Defense (ATTD), a position held since July 2016, where Michael establishes the company’s vision and provides comprehensive instruction to a diverse range of students. Previous experience includes a Security & Identity Management Internship at TechJutsu and a substantial tenure at Magellan Health Services from June 2009 to May 2015 as an Information Security Engineer, focusing on areas such as Information Security and Physical Security. Michael's educational background includes a Master of Science in Business and Technology Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Stevenson University, alongside an Associate of Applied Science in Network Security Administration and a Certificate of Proficiency in Network Security Administration from Howard Community College.
