Nilesh Shroff is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leading technical innovations and transformations in telecommunications. Currently serving as Vice President of Technology at Brightspeed since November 2021, Nilesh drives the deployment of fiber across 3.2 million households in 20 states. Previously, at Verizon from October 1996 to October 2021, Nilesh held various senior roles, including Head of Technology Portfolio Strategy & Transformation Management, where a transition to agile methodologies for a large global technology team was spearheaded. As Head of Systems of Insights - AI/ML, Nilesh established a data platform for generating real-time insights. Other notable positions included management of network operations, product launches across multiple enterprise sectors, and leading a global development team focused on modernizing legacy systems. Nilesh holds an Executive MBA from the University of Maryland, an MS in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina, and a BE in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
