Bright Steps Tutoring was built from a very personal place.

Growing up, I was lucky enough to have people outside of the classroom who believed in me — tutors, teachers, sports coaches and mentors who gave me confidence when I needed it most. Coming from a single-parent background, I know how powerful the right support can be. For me, tutoring was more than extra lessons, and sport was more than an activity — they became a school away from school, and a home away from home.

That is why I started Bright Steps.

I wanted to create a tutoring service that gives students more than just academic help. Bright Steps is about confidence, structure, encouragement and finding the right person who can support each child in a way that feels personal to them.

We provide personalised online tutoring for GCSE, 11+, primary and secondary students, helping families find reliable and supportive tutors across subjects including English, Maths, Science and exam preparation.

Our aim is simple: to help every student feel more capable, more confident and more prepared for their next step.

Free 30-minute trial sessions are available for new families.
