Tia S. is a clinical social worker and addiction specialist with a Master's degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Previously, Tia served as the Lead Clinical Counselor at SouthLight Healthcare and held various roles, including Licensed Clinical Social Worker at NCWorks Career Center. Tia is currently the Regional Clinical Training Director at BrightView and is working on a novel addressing the experiences of women-identifying persons of color. Additionally, Tia is pursuing a PhD in counseling while actively advocating for improved access to care and supporting clients facing systemic challenges.
