James Manuel, Ph.D.

James Manuel, Ph.D., is currently a Senior Polymer Scientist at BrightVolt since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Michigan Technological University from September 2020 to June 2023. James also served as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at The University of Georgia from January 2017 to August 2020, focusing on research and design of new materials for batteries and biomedical applications. Moreover, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Gyeongsang National University from January 2014 to December 2015 and from March 2011 to February 2012, studying new electrode materials and supervising graduate students. Additionally, they were an Assistant Professor at St. Michael's College, Cherthala from August 2012 to December 2013 and a Chemist at Excel Glasses Ltd from March 2005 to August 2006.

James Manuel, Ph.D. received their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Chemical Engineering from Gyeongsang National University, having completed their studies from the year 2007 to 2011.
