Amy Berg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an English Teaching Assistant at The Turkish Fulbright Commission. In 2015, they joined Newton Teacher Residency as a History Licensure Candidate. Amy then transitioned to Hudson Public Schools where they served as a History Teacher from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, Amy attended The Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy as a student. Following that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Slyce from 2018 to 2019, where they collaborated on Angular single page applications, developed APIs, and worked with technologies like Flask and Kubernetes. From 2019 to 2023, Amy was a Software Engineer at STRATIS IoT, where they contributed to user identity/role management, user authentication flows, and partner integrations. Amy used technologies such as Express.js, Django, and Mysql. Currently, Amy is a Software Engineer at brightwheel, starting in 2023.
Amy Berg completed their education in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in History and Mathematics from Williams College. In 2016, they obtained an Initial License in History 8-12 from the Massachusetts Department of Education. In 2018, they attended Fullstack Academy but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Additionally, in June 2018, they obtained a certification in "Build Front-End Web Apps from Scratch" from Codecademy.
