Kyle Morehead

Kyle Morehead has had a varied work experience since 2005. Kyle began their career as an Office and Warehouse General Assistant at Finis Inc. in 2005. In 2008, they became a Student Laborer at the East Bay Regional Park District, and in 2009, an Assistant Head Lifeguard. In 2013, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant for Alameda County. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Manufacturing Technician at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Life Technologies). During this time, they worked in a high throughput, team environment operating semi-automated and automated lab equipment to synthesize custom DNA and RNA primers. In 2016, they became a Software Engineering Fellow at Hack Reactor. In 2020, they joined FINEOS as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked as programming lead in an squad based AGILE environment, handled sensitive information and worked on ways to keep PII safe and secure in a highly customizable system, and developed highly customizable applications that take a "configuration first" mentality due to highly variable requirements of the industry. Kyle also managed the transition of teams and teammates through the acquisition of Limelight Health incorporating within the FINEOS platform. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Limelight Health, where they worked to build the company and product from a Series A valuation of $3 million through Series D with a $75 million acquisition by a larger entity. Additionally, they managed a variety of teams of up to eight developers on both enterprise and multi tenant implementations of the application and increased performance by a factor of ten by implementing client side caching. In 2021, they joined brightwheel as a Senior Back End Engineer.

Kyle Morehead's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Genetics with a focus in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis from 2007 to 2012. Kyle also attended Hack Reactor for Computer Software Engineering. Prior to this, they attended Tracy High School from 2002 to 2006. Kyle also has several certifications from Salesforce Trailhead, including the Data Management Badge, Data Modeling Badge, Lightning Experience Basics Badge, and Salesforce Platform Basics Badge.
