Lewis Ames

Lewis Ames has worked in the software development field since 2004. Theircareer began at Meyer Sound, where they worked as a Web Application Developer from 2004 to 2014. During their time at Meyer Sound, they built web applications to support production, shipping, service, test engineering, loudspeaker system design, marketing, and manufacturing engineering. Lewis then moved to Spring Studio, where they worked as a Development Director and Senior Developer from 2014 to 2017. During their time at Spring Studio, they worked on a small dev team to build out applications, marketing sites, and prototypes for clients, as well as to support in-house UX research. In 2017, Lewis joined Azlo as a Senior Frontend Developer and Tech Lead of Web Team, and worked as a founding member from the prototype to the full market launch and beyond. Lewis built the initial releases Azlo Web app, the onboarding app, the back office admin app in Angular, as well as content-managed and static marketing sites. Finally, Lewis joined brightwheel in 2021 as a Senior Frontend Developer.

Lewis Ames attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science.
