Howie Xu

Howie X. is a seasoned professional in product design, currently serving as Senior Manager of Product Design at Brigit, where the focus is on the #1 Financial Health app. Recent experience includes a sabbatical and a role as Product Design Leader at Alfred, where Howie led user-centric product discovery and design operations. Previous positions span a range of leadership roles in prominent organizations, including Senior UX Designer at Procore Technologies, where strategic design direction for a key time management initiative was developed, and Design System Lead/Senior Product Designer at Honest Buildings, responsible for creating the first design system and cornerstone financial platform. Additional experience includes impactful design contributions for NBA global markets at Ready Set Rocket, product design at Audible, and UX leadership at Operation:CMYK and Sightful.io. Howie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Interaction Design from City Tech, CUNY, along with education from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
