John Crowley has a long and varied career in facilities and project management. John started their career in 1990 at Partners HealthCare as a Project Manager, and held roles as a Materials Manager and Senior Manager of Vendor Management over the next 16 years. In 2006 they moved to Boston Children's Hospital as a Senior Project Manager, and in 2009 they joined South Shore Hospital in the same role. In 2011 they took a temporary assignment as Director of Facilities Management at Whittier Street Health Center, where they managed all functions of the new $53M LEED Certified Healthcare Center. From 2013-2017 they were a Project Manager at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, managing construction projects for 40 healthcare centers with a capital budget of $28M annually. In 2017 they became a Senior Project Manager at Five Star Building Corp., managing large-scale infrastructure projects at Logan Airport for Massport. From 2019-2021 they held two roles; Director of Operations for Miller Panel Specialties, and Senior Project Manager at Crowley Project Management, based at Pfizer's Pharma. Currently, they are a Facilities/Property Manager at Brigs, LLC.
John Crowley has a long history of education. John attended University College Cork, Ireland from 1975 to 1979, where they received a Bachelors in Liberal Arts with a focus on Humanities/Social Sciences. In 1987, they attended Wentworth Institute of Technology, where they received a Certification in Construction Management and Bachelors in Construction Management. John also received ongoing CEU's from the State of MA and CSL from 1987 to 2013. In 2006 to 2007, they attended Boston Building Institute and received a State of MA Building Codes and ADA Requirements. In 2012, they attended ASHE.com and received a CFM Certification and OSHA.com, where they received an OSHA 30 Hour Certification. John also received ongoing CEUs from Wentworth Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2013.
