Frontend Engineer at Brill Power

Oladele Ogabi has extensive work experience as a software engineer, specializing in frontend development. Oladele started their career as an intern at the West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited in 2016. In 2018, they joined Union Systems Limited as a frontend developer, where they implemented page designs and led a team of four people in designing the user interface strategy. Oladele also worked on file management and image libraries. In 2019, they transitioned into a full stack developer role at the same company, managing system analysis and leading a team in designing MVCs. Oladele used Spring MVC for server-side development.

In 2021, Ogabi joined RecVue as an Angular developer, working in a team of six to create concepts and ensure application performance. Oladele developed highly interactive web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, Angular 12, and integrated Restful APIs. Oladele collaborated with product designers and managers and provided technical support to commercial teams.

In 2022, Ogabi worked at Purple Beard Training as a frontend trainer, where they trained students on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, Git, and other frontend libraries. Oladele provided assistance and feedback to struggling students and created lesson plans for new subjects.

Currently, they hold the position of frontend engineer at Brill Power, starting in 2023.

Oladele Ogabi completed a Bachelor of Science(BSc.) degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Lagos State University, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. In May 2020, they obtained a certification in Comprehensive Guide To Import & Export Trade Logistics from Udemy. In April 2019, they obtained a certification in Full Stack with Spring Boot and Angular 7, also from Udemy. In February 2019, they received certifications in Artificial Intelligence Intro and Coding Intro from IBM. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Business Analytics from the University of Northampton, with studies expected to be completed in 2023.
