Strategic Support Group at BRINC

Brian Leventhal has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2000 with the Concord Police Department, where they held the roles of Police Officer in the Traffic Enforcement Division and Patrol Division. In 2005, they moved to the Burlington Police Department, where they worked as a Police Officer in the Patrol Division. In 2006, they joined the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, where they held the roles of Copilot/Rescue Systems Manager in the Aircraft Operations Unit, Master Trooper, Trooper in the Collision Reconstruction Unit, Motor Carrier Enforcement Division, and Field Operations Division. In 2018, they founded levit8 UAS and also worked as an Operations Specialist at AIRAVAT. Finally, in 2022 they joined BRINC as a member of the Strategic Support Group.

Brian Leventhal completed their high school education at Western Guilford High School from 1992 to 1996. Brian then attended Appalachian State University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. In 2000, they attended the North Carolina Justice Academy to obtain a Basic Law Enforcement Training in Criminal Justice. In 2006, they attended the North Carolina State Highway Patrol Basic School to obtain a Basic Highway Patrol School in Criminal Justice. In addition, Brian Leventhal has obtained a Pix4Dmapper fundamentals certification from Pix4D in February 2019, a FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, and a Private Aircraft Pilot - Rotorcraft/Helicopter certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
