Max Knutsen

Max Knutsen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Max began their career as a Robotics Counselor at TIC Summer Camp in 2012 before moving on to work as a Junior Software Engineer Intern at Cougaar Software, Inc. from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, Max gained industry experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Facebook. Following this, they joined Microsoft in 2017, initially as a Software Engineer I and later transitioning to the position of Firmware Engineer I. Max then joined Amazon in 2019 as an Embedded Firmware Engineer II, where they were involved in firmware application development for the Alexa Loop and the design and implementation of CI/CD test infrastructure for the Halo View. Max subsequently took on the role of an Embedded Software Engineer II at Sonos Inc. in 2021. Currently, Max is employed as a Senior Embedded Engineer at BRINC, starting from 2023.

Max Knutsen completed their education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2013 to 2016. Max obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Mclean High School from 2009 to 2013, where they did not receive a specific degree or field of study.
