Lihaokun Chen

Lihaokun Chen is a Lead Electrochemist at Brineworks, where they focus on electrolysis to enable CO2 direct air capture. They completed their PhD in Chemistry at the University of Oregon, with research on bipolar membranes and water electrolyzers. Prior to that, Lihaokun worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Oregon and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Peking University. They have also served as a Teaching Assistant in several electrochemistry courses, helping to educate and inspire future scientists. Currently, Lihaokun is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, assisting in lab setup and training.
