Chris Liénard

Chris Li is a seasoned product manager and director with extensive experience in the telecommunications and digital payment sectors. Currently serving as Product Director at GSMA since May 2018, Chris oversees the GSMA eSIM and Root DNS services, leading service migrations, managing product development, and coordinating with marketing teams. Previously, Chris held roles at Samsung Electronics, where responsibilities included launching the first Octopus compatible mobile payment service, and at Octopus Cards Limited, managing product and project development for various online and mobile services. With a strong technical foundation gained from earlier work at Meta4 Group Limited, Chris has consistently demonstrated effective leadership and project management skills, shaping innovative solutions in fast-paced environments. Education includes a BSc in Business Information Technology from Staffordshire University and an Associate degree in Computer Studies from City University of Hong Kong.
