Derek Gallagher

Derek Gallagher has a diverse work experience in the cash solutions industry. Derek started their career at Brink's in 2001 as a CIT Driver and later worked as a Coin Centre Supervisor and Coin & Cash Centre Manager. In 2014, they joined G4S Cash Solutions Ireland as a Service Manager and later became an Operations Manager. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the National Cash & Coin Operations Manager at G4S. In 2019, Derek worked as the Business Process Design Director and briefly as the Interim Operations Director at G4S Cash Solutions Ireland. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Operations at Brink's Inc starting from 2020.

Derek Gallagher's education history includes obtaining a Diploma of Education in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from CMI - Communications & Management Institute in 2022-2023. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from Griffith College Dublin from 2021-2023. Derek also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from National College of Ireland, which they completed from 2016-2019. In addition, Derek achieved a Six Sigma Lean Green Belt certification from SQT Training Ltd in 2016-2017 and a Diploma in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Dublin Business School in 2008-2009. Their earlier education includes attending St Vincent's CBS.
