David Valys

David Valys has extensive work experience in the technology industry. David began their career at Dell as a Process Engineer, Software Developer, and Factory Architect. David then moved on to AlterPoint, where they held various roles such as Senior Software Architect, Software Development Manager, Manager of Professional Services Engineering, and Chief Solutions Architect. During their time at AlterPoint, they played a key role in jump-starting the professional services organization and leading the consulting team through significant revenue growth.

After AlterPoint, Valys joined iControl Networks as the Chief Solutions Architect, where they managed a team of consultants and personally deployed solutions for the company's largest customers. David then worked at Noesis as the Director of Software Development/Chief Architect, where they helped add an online lending and sales enablement platform to the existing energy analytics SaaS solution. At AlienVault, Valys served as the Vice President of Engineering, managing various teams and being responsible for a significant portion of the company's revenue.

Most recently, they worked at AT&T Cybersecurity as a Director of Technology and Lead Software Engineer, where they led the Software Architecture team and contributed to the transition of the MSSP product to a multi-tenant model. Valys is currently a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Brinqa. Overall, Valys has demonstrated expertise in software development, architecture, and leadership throughout their career.

David Valys has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from Texas A&M University. David also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution. In addition, they hold a Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. David Valys has obtained a Secret Clearance from the U.S. Department of State in 2008 and is also a Cisco Certified Network Engineer.
