This project is proudly supported by the Brisbane City Council through the Lord Mayor's Helen Taylor Research Award for Local History and the Art Deco & Modernism Society. We aim to document and celebrate our local Art Deco architecture by sharing some of the interesting stories about this built heritage, and highlighting its significance in the fabric of our city in order to contribute to ensuring that this architecture is increasingly valued in our community, and strengthen efforts to preserve and protect such examples into the future.
