Did you know Bristol has a thriving ice hockey scene? The Bristol Pitbulls proudly represent the city, and two teams compete in the National Ice Hockey League (NIHL), National Division and South Division 2.

Since 2021, we’ve called the state-of-the-art ice rink at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway, our home. This marked a triumphant return to Bristol after years of playing in Oxford following the closure of the city’s previous rink in 2012.

Founded in 2009 by Richie Hargreaves, the Pitbulls have made history, earning two league championships and a playoff title while building a reputation for resilience and passion.
