Naoise Gaffney

Naoise Gaffney is a commercially focused senior legal counsel and patent litigator with extensive expertise in intellectual property, particularly in the tech and life sciences sectors. They have held various roles, including Head of Intellectual Property & General Counsel at ByoWave and VP, Head of Intellectual Property at GH Research, where they built and oversaw comprehensive IP functions. Naoise has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Trinity College Dublin and Temple University Japan, teaching Global Patent Law. With a solid educational background that includes multiple advanced degrees from Trinity College and Queen Mary, University of London, they are actively involved in IP and regulatory policy matters on both national and international levels.
