Lucy Dear is an experienced theatre professional with a focus on community engagement and youth arts education. Currently serving as a Community Arts Practice teacher at The BRIT School since April 2022, Lucy also works as a Participation Producer for Dante or Die and a Theatre Director at Southwark Playhouse. Previously, roles included Neighbourhood Theatre Producer at Young Vic, Facilitator for Takeover the Future at Paddington Development Trust, and Director of Youth Theatre and Young People's projects at Chickenshed Theatre. Lucy holds a postgraduate certificate in Applied Theatre from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and a BA in Applied Drama from Queen Mary University of London.
