Head of Merchant and Customer Support at Brite Payments

Hernan Poveda has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Hernan is currently the Head of Merchant and Customer Support at Brite, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Grupo ASV as a Service Consultant from September 2020 to May 2021.

Before joining Grupo ASV, Poveda was employed at Meridiano Seguros as an Assistance Officer from September 2015 to July 2020. Hernan also served as an Office and Project Manager at Fundación ENIAC / LINK S.C.A. from October 2008 to July 2015.

Poveda's earlier experience includes working as an Operations Manager at Super Broaster Americano from March 2005 to October 2007, where they were responsible for personnel management, quality control, supplier selection, and marketing campaigns. Hernan started their career as a Restaurant Manager at IRCC Ltda., Corral Gourmet from January 2004 to February 2005, overseeing daily operations and managing a staff of 20.

Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Tourism Planning and Management from the Universidad de Málaga between 2009 and 2013. Hernan also holds a degree in Tourism and Business Administration from the Universidad Externado de Colombia, which they earned between 1998 and 2007. In addition to their academic degrees, Hernan Poveda has obtained various certifications. Hernan has completed a course in Coordination of Networked Teams from OKN Learning in March 2020, Entrepreneurial Strategic Management from SANROMÁN Formación, Consultoría y Empleo in October 2014, International Negotiation and Sales from FAECTA in July 2014, and Management of SMEs from Fundacion Tripartita in February 2012. Furthermore, in 1996-1998, they pursued a GNVQ in Hospitality and Catering from the University of West London.
