Robert Mitton

Robert Mitton is an experienced leader in the fields of education technology and strategic academic development, currently serving as the Head of Academic Strategy and Institutional Relations at IBTE since April 2025. As Co-Founder and CEO of BRITEthink since May 2018, Robert has integrated AI and machine learning into educational assessments, emphasizing project management, quality assurance, and international business development. Additional expertise includes project management in SaaS and machine learning, cybersecurity risk analysis, and internal quality assurance across various educational sectors. Robert has contributed to multiple organizations, including The Skills Network as Co-Founder and as a Professional Learning Mentor at the National College of Education. With a strong educational background, currently pursuing a Doctor of Education at UCL, Robert holds an Executive MBA from the University of Plymouth, among other qualifications in digital pedagogy and data science.
