Andy Maddock

Andy Maddock has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Andy worked at British Canoeing from 2013 to the present, where they held the positions of Programmes Director (Operations) and Head of Performance Operations. Andy also worked as an Academy Manager and Head Coach for Great Britain Canoe Slalom Olympic Development Programmes at the British Canoe Union from 2000 to 2013. In addition to their coaching roles, they have worked as a TV Commentator and Sports Venue Announcer for Eurosport Television since 2003, providing commentary for various international canoeing events including the Olympic Games. Recently, they have also worked as an Executive Coach at Tamarisk Coaching, focusing on personal development and leadership.

Andy Maddock attended Charterhouse School from 1986 to 1991. Andy then went on to study at Staffordshire University from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a BSc Hons degree in Valuation Surveying.
