Daniel Thompson

Daniel Thompson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sports administration and management, currently serving as the Slalom Foundations and Support Lead at Paddle UK since June 2017. In this role, Daniel is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Slalom pathway foundation programs and managing operational support for talent development initiatives. Previous positions include Talent Operations Lead, where Daniel engaged with stakeholders and coordinated high-performance facility access, and Talent Operations Coordinator, managing logistical planning for talent training camps. Daniel's prior experiences also encompass roles at Volleyball England, where successful event management and volunteer engagement marked key achievements, alongside early career roles in sales and sports assistance that contributed to a strong foundation in sports management. Daniel holds a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science from Sheffield Hallam University.
