Billy Murphy

Billy Murphy has accumulated a diverse range of work experience over the years. Starting as an Automotive Technician at Rosenthal Fairfax Honda in 2011, they transitioned into roles in IT, including Front End/Application Developer at TTC, Inc., Javascript/UI Developer at USDA APHIS, SharePoint/Nintex Engineer at USDA NIFA, and Front End Developer at the Educational Funding Company. Most recently, they held the position of Frontend Engineer at X-Mode Social before becoming a Lead Software Engineer at Brivo in July 2021.

Billy Murphy completed an Automotive Diploma from Universal Technical Institute, Inc. in 2007-2008. Billy then pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Information Technology from Northern Virginia Community College from 2012-2016. Subsequently, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology from George Mason University from 2016-2019. Additionally, Billy obtained several certifications in AWS, Nintex Workflow, ICAgile, and Free Code Camp Front End in the years following their formal education.
