David Spawn

David Spawn has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. David started their career as a Senior Analyst at Thompson Associates in 1998 and subsequently joined MapInfo as a Senior Analyst until 2001. David then worked as a Manager at LimitedBrands from 2001 to 2006. Starting from 2007, they joined Target, where they held the position of Senior Analyst until 2012. In this role, they were responsible for market analysis, strategic planning, and location research for Target's store capital investment programs in the Canadian market. David was then promoted to Project Manager at Target and held this position until 2014. In this role, they led annual capital impact processes across multiple departments and developed a training program for new team members. Since 2014, David has been working at Brixmor Property Group, where they initially served as the Director of Research until 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Research at Brixmor Property Group.

David Spawn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from Macalester College, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. David later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Geography at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they attended from 1996 to 1998.
