Since 1940, we have proudly served the people of Cherokee, Spartanburg, Union, and Newberry counties in South Carolina and portions of Cleveland, Polk, and Rutherford counties in North Carolina. Organized by a handful of rural farmers who sought to make life better for themselves and those that followed, we carry that same ideal today. 
Our priority is delivering safe, reliable and affordable electricity to our members and helping all in the communities we serve. In partnership with our member-owners, each year we donate over 100K to local charities and causes.
